Gods & Deities
This is a list of Gods and deities that exist in Azzaria.
The Celts
Maeri: The Goddess of women and childbirth, her colours are lilac and pale yellow. Her symbol is an egg. Maeria appears to people in the guise of a beautiful woman with long, curly auburn hair, wearing a pale lilac dress. Her age changes depending on who she visits.
Halicon: The God of men, his colour is royal blue and his symbol is a black wolf. Halicon appears to men only, and is a strapping man with greying blonde hair and fair skin.
Drustar: The God of warriors, his colour is ruby red and his symbol is a sword. Drustar appears to people in full black armour, his face covered by his helmet.
Ivia: The Goddess of Priests, her colour is white and her symbol is a 6 pointed star. Ivia appears in the guise of a woman covered in a white veil that covers her face and white gown. Only her pale blue eyes can be seen peeking through the veil.
Ruski & Clara: The God and Goddess of children, their colours are sky blue and rose pink, and their symbol is a dove. They appear as two children, dressed in their respective colours, Ruski with a pet dog and Clara with a pet cat.
Everor: The God of nature, his colour is forest green and his symbols are flowers and leaves. Everor appears as a young man with golden hair and a crown of leaves, wearing a pair of leather breeches. His chest and feet are always bare.
Bellana: The Goddess of the weather, her colour is orange and her symbol is the sun. Bellana appears on a white horse in a bright, flowing gown of red, yellow and orange. She is a young woman with strawberry blonde hair that she keeps in a braid.
Sallyia: The Goddess of harvests, her colour is the golden brown of wheat and her symbol is a sheaf of corn. Sallyia appears in the guise of a middle aged woman with golden hair that is beginning to grey. She wears the clothes of peasants.
Klarus: The God of farmers, his colour is an earthy brown, and his symbol is a horse. Klarus appears to people astride a chestnut stallion, wearing the clothes of a farmer and holding a pitch fork.
Fauken: The God of Death, his colour is black and his symbol is the raven. Fauken is the only Celtic god that is dark skinned, and there are various theories as to why his skin is so dark. He appears to people in black robes, and has shoulder-length white hair and blue eyes.
The Elves
Elementals & Spirits: There are four elemental spirits; earth, water, air and fire, and a spirit for each animal species.
Asandri'la: The deity of life and all living things (female). She appears to Elves as a female elf with hair the colour of new leaves, wearing a pale green gown made of silk. Leaves decorate her hair and her gown.
Caska: The deity of rivers and streams (male). He appears as a male Elf with pale skin tinted with blue. His hair falls below his hips and is a mixture of blue and green hues. He appears naked except for a pair of blue pants.
Maerila: The deity of mountains (female) Maerila appears as an old female Elf, her golden hair greying with age. She dresses in a simple gown of greys and white, and about her neck hangs a piece of mountain stone.
Haliv: The deity of animals and birds (male). He appears in the guise of an animal or bird, and is able to speak in any form he chooses.
Talisia: The deity of weather and seasons (female). Talisia chooses to appear as a misty form within weather. No one is certain of what she looks like, those that she appears to always say she looks like the weather.
Daerim: The deity of forests (male), his sister is Asandri'la. Daerim appears as a male elf dressed in colours of the forest. Like his sister he is decorated in leaves, although his hair is a darker hue, a rich forest green.
